Red Floral Kota Doria Kurta, Pant & Dupatta Set

Kota Doria is woven in fine squares of cotton and silk — the khat — which is why this fabric feels almost weightless against the skin and lets air move through it. Hold it to the light and you'll see the grid.

The kurta carries a soft floral print across a deep red ground, with blooms fading in and out like they've been brushed on. The V-neckline is finished by hand with mirror work, gold sequins and red thread detailing, and closes with a twisted tassel latkan. Three-quarter sleeves, a straight silhouette, and side slits that keep it easy to walk in.

The dupatta is the piece people will ask about. An off-white Kota base scattered with red floral butas, framed by a wide printed border, and finished at both ends with striped bands and a hand-knotted fringe. It's sheer enough to drape softly and long enough to style however you like — pleated over one shoulder, or open across both.

Paired with matching straight-fit pants in solid red.

Care
Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent. Do not bleach or wring. Dry in shade. Iron on medium with a cloth between. First wash may release slight colour, that's natural with red dyes.
