Bansara — Green Block Print Cotton Short Kurti
This one earns its place in the part of your wardrobe you actually reach for.
The base is a deep pine green cotton, printed all over with small floral butis in dusty rose, brick red and mustard — the kind of dense, small-repeat print that reads as texture from a distance and rewards a closer look. Around the hem and at the sleeve cuffs, a wider floral border in rose and green frames the whole thing.
The V-neckline is where the hand-work sits: a printed rose panel edged in mustard crochet trim, with scattered mirrors and sequins catching the light. Three-quarter sleeves with matching bordered cuffs. Side slits finished with drawstring ties and soft dusty-pink tassels, so you can cinch or leave them loose.
The length is the point. It falls just past the hip — long enough to layer over jeans or trousers without swamping you, short enough that it never reads as a full kurta. Pair it with denim and oxidised silver for everyday, or with palazzos and a dupatta when you need it to do more.

Care
Hand wash separately in cold water for the first few washes. Mild detergent, no bleach, no wringing. Dry in shade — direct sun fades natural dyes. Iron on medium, inside out to protect the mirror work.
Note: Slight variation in print placement and colour depth is natural to the process and is what makes each piece its own.
